Loving Someone Shouldn't Hurt

Loving Someone Shouldn't Hurt

According to the ncadv.org (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence), we learned the following

  • On average nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the U.S.
  • 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner.
  • 1 in 4 women and 1 and 9 men experience severe intimate partner physical violence, intimate partner sexual violence (i.e. rape), and/or stalking with impacts such as injury, fearfulness, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

These stats are horrific and people who are victims of this need to know they have the love and support of MSO and groups (mentioned above) to help get them through this. WE DO NOT SUPPORT ANY BEHAVIOR THAT SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES THIS!

We take a deep dive into this subject of domestic violence and how it impacts us all. MSO is joined by its special guests (Terri K. Rhiana S. and Kelz M.) Terri shares her personal story of domestic violence and through this outlet, she hopes that it will help not only to start the healing process for her but for our listeners who may be experiencing the same thing.  Rhiana, Kelz, and I listen and although none of us are medical professionals in this field, we offer up our thoughts and opinions helping her with the healing process. Listen in!
